About the Author

James W. Bynum, a 62-year-old African American disabled veteran, has lived a remarkable journey shaped by resilience, faith, and a profound spiritual calling. After years of facing homelessness and battling addiction, Bynum achieved a powerful milestone of 22 years of sobriety, during which he deepened his connection to God and found stability in his life. Through his writing, Bynum seeks to offer readers inspiration, insight, and encouragement, inviting them to explore their own spiritual paths. “The God Map” is not just a work of poetry but a testament to his unwavering belief in a higher power, his gratitude for life’s blessings, and his desire to uplift others on their journey of faith.
